Lifebridge

On December 12th, We volunteered our time to help launch philanthropic program called Lifebridge - a free life insurance program for working families who can least afford it – in the Greater Seattle area. The James Real Estate Group, University of Washington, The Lenny Wilkens Foundation, Odessa Brown Children's Clinic and MassMutual were all part of this great event!  We were able to help provide free life insurance coverage for over 20 families which resulted in giving out over $1,000,000.00 in life insurance policies. Lenny Wilkens’ Celebrity Golf Classic Supporting Children’s Hospital and Odessa Brown’s Children’s Clinic

We were honored by the invitation to sponsor the Lenny Wilkens’ Celebrity Classic. The Friday night dinner, followed by the Saturday golf tournament, is a much anticipated tradition for members of the northwest community. The event has generated well over $2,000,000.00 for the Odessa Brown Children’s Clinic, an affiliate of Children’s Hospital, and will continue to do great things in the future.

Baseball Night Supporting Children’s Hospital with the Seattle Mariners

To kick-off baseball season and generate awareness for our program, we purchased a suite for the Seattle Mariners game on Friday, April 7th, 2006. The suite was placed on an online auction site, promoted by our friends at KISS 106.1, and ALL proceeds from the winning bid went to Children’s Hospital.  After a steady 5 days and an aggressive final 30 minutes, the twenty tickets for the suite, the $500 food/beverage credit, and three signed baseballs were awarded to the highest bidder at $2,025.00!! We also donated 100 tickets to Children’s Hospital, Odessa Brown Children’s Clinic, Ronald McDonald House and other kid-focused organizations to turn this event into a fun night for children in our community.

On the morning of February 21st, the our team answered phones and took pledges during KISS 106.1’s One Big KISS for Children’s Hospital Radiothon.  Led by hosts, Jackie & Bender, the event raised over $1,230,000.00!  Every year, Children’s Hospital provides millions of dollars to support uncompensated care for children and families in need – this annual Radiothon helps Children’s meet this need.
